Continued education and training is a critical component of any integrated fall protection system. Competent Person Training (16 hr)
The Fall Protection Competent Person Course is designed for the individual responsible for supervising the safety of other workers. The course will establish how to identify fall hazards, fall protection best practices and installation, and current OSHA/ANSI standards for fall protection.
Course includes the following content:
- Fall Hazard Recognition, Elimination, and Control Methods
- Fall Hazard Survey
- Inspection Equipment
- Selecting the right anchor and the use of non-certified anchorages
- Fall protection system assessments and determining safety
- Rescue Procedures
- Drop Tower Demonstrations (multiple)

HySafe’s Authorized Worker Training is our basic fall protection course designed for those who are using fall protection equipment on a regular basis.
Course includes the following content:
- Fall Hazard Recognition, elimination, and control methods
- Fall Protection Responsibilities, Regulations, and Procedures
- Drop Tower Demonstration (single)

On-site Training
Following every HySafe fall protection installation, a fall protection specialists will conduct a system training session as part of our turnkey fall protection services. Users will be instructed on basic harness training, system inspection prior to use, and proper fall protection system attachments.
